DRILL/CALC ("the App") is developed by Ojana DEV ("we", "us"). Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, your rights, and the choices you have. By installing or using the App, you consent to the practices described below.
All values you enter in the calculators (mud weights, depths, volumes, pressures, etc.) and your preferences (dark mode, preferred units) are saved locally on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers.
MICA chat history is kept in memory for the duration of your session only and is permanently erased when you close the chat or clear the history. We do not store, log, or analyse your MICA conversations.
The MICA AI feature sends the text messages you type to a Cloudflare Worker proxy operated by Ojana DEV. The proxy forwards your messages to the Groq API (operated by Groq Inc.) to generate a response using the Llama 3.3 70B language model. No personally identifiable information is intentionally included in these requests. Do not enter sensitive personal, financial, or confidential corporate data into the MICA chat.
The Offline Knowledge Pack feature uses JSON files bundled inside the app — no download or login is required.
The core calculation features (all calculators, PDF export) are fully available offline and make no network requests.
DRILL/CALC displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, a service operated by Google LLC. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process:
AdMob may use cookies, mobile identifiers, and similar technologies to: (a) serve ads relevant to you (personalized ads), or (b) serve generic ads not based on your interests (non-personalized ads) if you have withdrawn consent or are located in a region with stricter privacy rules (EEA, UK, Switzerland).

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, our legal basis for processing your data is your consent (for personalized ads and MICA chat) and legitimate interest (for basic app analytics and crash reporting, where applicable).
If you are a California resident (CCPA / CPRA), you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. DRILL/CALC does not sell personal information for monetary value.
To exercise any of these rights — including access, deletion, correction, or withdrawal of consent — contact the developer at the email below. Requests are honored within 30 days.
The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise GPS location, or personal files.
Network access is used only for: (a) MICA AI chat, and (b) delivering advertisements.
Each service is governed by its own privacy policy.
The App is a professional engineering tool intended for adults working in the oil & gas industry. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit (HTTPS / TLS for all network requests). However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or by updating the version available at this URL.
